Hypersonic Models ships worldwide, with all packaging and postage personally handled from my workshop in Japan.

See below for details on shipping costs and delivery options for different regions.

There are five delivery zones: Japan, Asia (Pacific), World I (Europe, Middle East, Central America, Canada, Oceania), World II (South America, Africa), and the USA. You have the option of standard or recorded and insured delivery. Recorded delivery service varies from country to country, and full detailed tracking may not be available.

Please note that the figures in the tables below are subject to change, but I always try to establish the best and fairest possible charges, based on (simplified) actual costs.

Extra-large items like kit bundles can have a higher rate than shown here.

Special notice for our customers in Canada and Australia:

Tracking for recorded delivery does NOT work within the country. The tracking number provided will show dispatch and processing up to the point of leaving Japan, but no details at all between the Canadian or the Australian border and the destination. Only the delivery will be recorded again.

Orders to the USA

Presently, no regular postal shipping is available to the USA.
As a temporary measure, I've made available shipping by Yamato Transport courier from Japan. The parcels will be handled and delivered by UPS in the USA. You will receive a Yamato tracking number and after reaching the US a new UPS tracking number will appear on their tracking system which you can then enter on UPS's tracking page.

The shipping charge does NOT INCLUDE TARIFFS OR UPS HANDLING FEES.
When receiving the parcel, UPS will get in touch and request a payment. This will be 15% tariff on the goods value plus a handling charge. The charge consists of:
2% of the tariff (i.e. 2% on the 15%) OR a minimum of $14.00, a storage fee of $25.00 if the parcel isn't claimed after 2 days and a payment fee of $12.00 if the payment isn't made electronically before delivery (please pay attention to tracking and being contacted by UPS to avoid this charge).
Experience so far is that the most common fee is $15.00 but can increase to $50.00 or more in the worst case.
Again, to be very clear:

Product price & shipping Tariff (15%) & UPS admin/handling charges

I also would like to point out strongly that I will not refund any orders based on refusing to pay the charges at receiver's end. Any refund claims will be disputed and escalated. All Yamato shipments are fully tracked by Yamato and UPS and documented as proof my my fulfilment. Sorry for the strong wording but I'd rather be very clear about this.
