A-3 Skywarrior Bomber Canopy (for Trumpeter)

This is a corrected (re-shaped and re-framed) canopy for the Trumpeter Skywarrior kits in 1:48, bomber type, early and late. These canopies feature a separate escape hatch that can be posed open, detailed emergency mechanism and roof and inner detail parts. The early type has the starboard side sextant mount frame moulded in (the mount itself comes as a resin detail part).

The late type has the port side framing for the fixed sextant assembly (also included as a resin detail part), but contains a vinyl sticker for the starboard sextant mount frame as well so modellers can build Skywarriors of the interim phase when both the old starboard mount and new port sextant assembly were present.

I no longer cast these canopies. However, there is a plan to have them manufactured externally. I'll eventually get to it, please stay tuned for more information on this.
