F-4B IRST Pod (for Tamiya)

This is a 1:48 IRST equipped chin (radome) pod for early F-4B's, specifically for the Tamiya kit. While not from the very start of production deliveries, F-4B's were fitted with this Infra-red Search and Track system from approx 1962. The original pod in the Tamiya kit is the late type, having a longer non-IRST forward fairing. A simple, drop-fit replacement part for the kit pod, no additional work necessary.
This is not a toy, suitable for modellers 14+ years old.
Keep out of reach of small children (below 3 years old),
